Job Title: Legal Business Operations/Paralegal (LBOP)

Business Unit: Legal Department

Reports to: Vice President, Legal

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and flexible team member for the Legal Department in our Columbus, Ohio office. In this role, you will provide legal, analysis, and operational support for the Vice President of Legal, and perform a variety of tasks to support the activities of Quantum Health's legal department. The Paralegal will have their own projects and provide legal support for special projects and assignments. This individual will interface with cross-functional partners in support of all aspects of the business including sales and strategic areas of the business decisions. Flexible work hours available.

Roles and Tasks:
• Key responsibilities and areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project management tools that assist with the coordination of cross-functional teams in relation to areas where the legal department plays a lead business role
• Assist with the efficient and effective administration of business critical compliance tasks, including applying critical and analytical thinking and identifying possible process improvement
• Research, compile, and prepare analyses on a variety of topics legal and non-legal
• Assist with other initiatives, including developing metrics for various legal function support of operations
• Manage our state licenses and intellectual filings
• Review and redline NDA, Confidentiality Agreements, and other contracts to provide feedback

• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external people
• Demonstrates excellent organization, attention to detail, and tracking skills with the ability to work independently
• Ability to work collaboratively and amongst cross-functional team members while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and serve as a legal department liaison among multi-disciplinary teams
• Conducts all work in an ethical, professional and confidential manner
• Demonstrates and implements a continuous improvement mindset
• Does not take things personally
• Likes having fun at work
• Friendly – but not so chatty that you don't get the work done
• The ability to Manage multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under deadline pressure
• Demonstrated project management skills including tools and ability to collect, analyze, and process data to develop useful information. Proficiency using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project, including demonstrated proficiency with Excel and the use of basic Excel formulas
• Accuracy with work, strong organizational skills, and high degree of attention to detail and ability to execute detailed instructions in a collaborative manner

Experience and Education:
• A Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, economics, healthcare, liberal arts, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in tracking timelines to prepare, meet or exceed key milestones
• 2-4 years' paralegal experience in supporting contract and general business matters with a law firm and/or in-house counsel and paralegal certification a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA a plus
• JD's may apply
