Job Title: Client Manager

Business Unit: Client Engagement Group

Reports to: Manager, Client Services

Description: The Client Manager (CM) role provides support to the Client Engagement Group (CEG) by working with the Client Executive to ensure client satisfaction and retention of our book of business.  The CM role assists in day-to-day management of client needs and expectations, with details outlined below.

Position Roles:

  • Responds to complex inquiries, solves non-routine problems using independent discretion, and ensures client satisfaction with the service provided by our Care Coordinators
  • Works with team leads, clinical leads, IT, Business Intelligence, and other internal resources to facilitate resolution of client questions and issues
  • Works with third-party vendors'including the TPA, PBM, and Stop-Loss carrier'on behalf of the client to gather or communicate information and/or resolve issues
  • Facilitates standard client processes such as annual renewal, communication requests, mid-year plan changes and report generation
  • Keeps Client Executive informed of client status and opportunities for improved client satisfaction
  • Communicates status and resolution of issues to clients and benefits consultants in a thoughtful, professional and articulate manner
  • Promotes the mission and core values of Quantum Health

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years internal experience as a Patient Service Representative, Project Manager, or Account Coordinator or similar experience in a position outside of Quantum Health that involves account management
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in interfacing with healthcare organization representatives (HR resources, benefit consultants, third-party vendors, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of the Quantum Health culture and complete Care Coordination process
  • Ability to probe to determine root cause of problems to facilitate prompt resolution of complex claims, eligibility and network issues
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to make decisions that are timely and well thought out that achieve results consistent with Quantum Health's business goals and organizational culture
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and internal Quantum Health systems
  • Ability to function as a team member within the CEG and interact professionally with other entities both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner with limited need for day-to-day supervision
  • Strong project management and people management skills – ability to manage difficult interactions proactively and professionally
